  2. Tane reserve the right to change payment terms at any time

  4. Tane reserve the right to suspend collection of certain species at any time
  5. You are responsible for checking Terms of Operation prior to any harvesting
  6. Seeds must be processed. Only cleaned, dry seeds will be accepted
  7. Tane reserve the right to refuse or return unprocessed or unviable seeds without payment
  8. Tane will pay the the amount per gram for clean, processed dry, viable seed as described

Payment

  • Seeds must be processed
  • Seed species must not be mixed
  • Each batch must be accompanied with:
    Name of Harvester
    Species
    Date of Collection
    Place of Collection
  • Payment as outlined in the Payment Table for accepted seeds will be made into the Seed Harvester’s designated bank account on the 23rd of the following month.

Tane Seed Hunters

  1. A person must be registered and accepted through the Tane Seed Hunter Scheme to be eligible to receive payment for harvested seed.
  2. Registration into the scheme does not create any relationship between the Seed Hunter and Tane whatsoever.
  3. A Seed Hunter is an independent harvester and will not represent themselves as being in any way a representative of Tane

Termination

  1. Tane reserve the right to cease this scheme at any time and will not be liable to purchase seed after notification.
  2. Notification of termination will be made at the website
  3. Tane reserve the right to remove any person from the Tane Seed Hunter Scheme at any time for any reason and will not be liable to purchase seed after notification.

Seed Collection

  1. Tane reserve the right to refuse or return unprocessed or unviable seeds without payment
  2. Seed Hunters must obtain permission before harvesting on private land
  3. Collections of more than FIVE HUNDRED GRAMS must be agreed prior to collection. Failure to do so may result in refusal of the consignment.

Accounts

  1. Seed Hunters shall be solely responsible for payment of all applicable income taxes, social security taxes and other payroll taxes, as well as any taxes, contributions or other obligations.

Disclaimer of Agency.

  1. Each Party shall perform services and nothing herein shall be construed as creating any other relationship between the Parties.

Health and Safety

  1. Seed harvesting can require entering difficult terrain. By participating in seed collection persons acknowledge that they are personally and solely responsible for their own safety and support. Tane owners or associated persons will not be held responsible for any injury, damage or loss of any kind to person or property, resulting from participant action (or lack of action).
  2. Participants should research sections and assess their own skill level before venturing out.
